RV rentals in Maryland are popular, as they provide a window to the beauty that surrounds you in the Old Line State. Cruise America has two rental locations in Maryland, where you can easily pick up one of their high quality class C motorhomes. As you travel the countryside, you will find the best of all worlds. To the east, you will discover beautiful beaches, as well as boating and fishing in the Atlantic and the Chesapeake Bay area. If you head west, you will find the splendor of the Appalachian Mountains. In the middle are the cities of Baltimore and Annapolis, as well as nearby Washington DC. One of the reasons that there are so many RV rentals in Maryland is because the state is so easy to travel. All of the attractions are inter-connected by well-maintained highways, as well as very accommodating RV parks. Here are a few examples of such parks:

The Take-It-Easy Campground, located in Callaway, offers the luxury of a resort combined with the beauty of Mother Nature. There are over 300 sites, each offering free WIFI access, Hot water, on-site Laundromat, running water, electric outlets, and a pet friendly environment. The park is open year round. There are also large playgrounds, a fishing lake, swimming pool, as well as gorgeous biking and hiking trails. You really don’t ever have to leave the campground to enjoy the surroundings.

Not far away from Baltimore is the Washington DC/Capitol KOA. This camping site is located in Millersville, spaced equally between Baltimore and Washing DC. It makes for a great base camp for your Cruise America RV rental adventure. All of the RV sites offer full hookups with up to 50-amp electricity. Some of the larger sites can accommodate up to 70’ vehicles. If anyone in your party is feeling adventurous and doesn’t mind sacrificing the comfort of the Cruise America RV, there are tents available to camp out in. There is free WIFI access, a general store for any supplies you overlooked, including LP gas and firewood. There are showers, laundry facilities, a playground, a special game room, a coffee bar and even a basketball court and horseshoe pit. If you choose to keep your Cruise America rental RV in the park, there are shuttle services to nearby attractions such as Annapolis, Washington DC and Baltimore. If you’re lucky enough to be there during the last week of March, you can attend the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC.

If your travels take you into the mountains of western Maryland, you may end up in an Accident … the town of Accident, that is. There you will find the Bumble Bee RV Park, which lies about two miles from Deep Creek Lake, a popular destination for residents and tourists alike. Your Cruise America RV will fit nicely amidst the woods, under the shade of Cherry, Oak, Pine and Maple trees. Each site has full hookups. Other amenities include a dump station, bathhouse, playground and a camp store. The good news is that the park is pet friendly … the bad news is that it’s closed during the winter season.

Wherever any of Cruise America’s RV rentals in Maryland end up, they are sure to be amidst beauty, and not far from a host of very pertinent places to visit.
